Description
Food science is the study of producing, processing, preparing, evaluating, and using food.  Research in food science leads to new discoveries every day.  Students in this course will have an opportunity to explore the field science and discover related careers.  Students will actively participate in experiments related to the fundamentals of chemistry and nutrition.  This course will assist students in making science relevant to the real-world.
