Because taking online courses is different from taking courses in a traditional face-to-face classroom, it’s good for students to know what courses will be like and what kind of commitment they’ll need to be successful. Research shows that students who are well prepared and well supported for this new experience do better in th​eir classes.​​​​​

 Important Dates

  • ​Summer enrollment begins with a meeting between the student and the school counselor. 
  • Students wishing to enroll in summer school should complete the Infinite Campus survey during the February 1-February 8 enrollment period to let their counselor know they want to discuss summer online coursework. 
  • Enrollment for First Time Credit Ends: May 1, 2021 (summer staffing is based on enrollments completed by May 1, 2021)
  • June Session Dates:  June 7, 2021-July 2, 2021
  • July Session Dates: July 12, 2021-August 6, 2021​​

  • ​Enrollment Opens: February 1, 2021
  • First Day of Online Classes: August 24, 2021 
  • Last Day for Course Enrollment: August 27, 2021 (placement after the February enrollment period is subject to available seats)
  • Last Day to Drop Online Courses: August 27, 2021 (pending space in a seated course)
  • Coursework Completion: January 12, 2022​

  • ​Enrollment Opens: February 1, 2021
  • First Day of Online Classes: January 18, 2022
  • Last Day for Course Enrollment: January 6, 2022 (placement after the February enrollment period is subject to available seats)
  • Last Day to Drop Online Courses: January 6, 2022 (pending space in a seated course)
  • ​Coursework Completion for grades 6-11: June 1, 2022
  • Coursework Completion for seniors: May 25, 2022

 Frequently Asked Questions

​The enrollment process begins by scheduling a meeting with your student’s counselor to discuss options.​

  • ​Students in grades K-12 who have attended a MO public school full time on campus one semester prior to requesting enrollment.
  • Requests are subject to district approval.  ​​​

​Students are permitted to take up to the equivalent of a  full schedule (in Rockwood, 7 classes) online. Courses in addition to a full schedule (beyond 7)  are not permitted.

​Yes, courses are scheduled similarly to the traditional school calendar. Important dates are clearly outlined in the course syllabus and calendar. It is important to keep up with due dates and communicate with the course teacher for clarification. ​​
